Simply a perfect 10/10. Food is always consistently delicious and I try to come here anytime I can if I'm eating out with more than 3 people.

Originally, I had made a phone reservation for 10 people on Saturday, June 15 for a post-graduation dinner (I now have a degree) about a week before at 6:45pm. An elderly Asian woman took my reservation (which is generally a good sign) and said it was fine. Then a couple days before, I had to change it to 11 people and they also said it was fine. Then the day off, complications happened and suddenly my party of 11 became a party of 7 and wanted to go to dinner an hour earlier than planned. We communicated all of this with the restaurant and they were incredibly accommodating for all these changes (which I felt so bad about). I entered with my graduation gown and stole on and the server constantly was congratulating me and saying I should be very proud of myself. All of them were also worried about my gown touching the ground and made sure I was well taken care of. Definitely very homey and genuinely like motherly affection. Now for the food, *To note: I am from the Bay Area and actively go to Korean restaurants so I have a certain taste that I am always looking for.* We ordered the TongSamGyub Salad (sliced pork belly), yachae pojeon (vegetable pancake), and Dduk gook (rice cake soup). I wish they had kimchi pancake as those are usually my favorite in a Korean spot, but the vegetable pancake was great, flavorful, and crispy. I was not entirely a fan of the dduk gook, as I prefer it to be spicer and a stronger gochujang flavor. My table also ordered bibimbap, Dolsot Bibimbap (in a stone pot), haemul kalguksoo (Hand cut noodles soup with seafood), Daeji Bulgogi (Spicy marinated sliced pork bulgogi), and Buckwheat cold noodles. The haemul kalguksoo was really good and had a rich, flavorful broth. The buckwheat noodles came with mustard and vinegar, in which my friend proceeded to add excessive amounts of mustard. It, then, only tasted like mustard, which was user error. I would also suggest getting the regular bibimbap over the stone pot as it did not really crispy up the rice as much as I thought, but overall the flavor was great. The sauce they provided was gochujang in a bottle (i think) and helped add more flavor and spice to the dish. They also provided a lot of banchan, with a lot more options than most Korean places I do to. It was not my most favorite banchan I've had but it was still good and the number of options made up for the lack of flavor in the banchan. Overall, come for the friendliness of the staff and the numerous great food options to share between friends.

A solid Korean restaurant with a medium variety of options. My friend and I started out with their pork belly salad. That was an excellent balance of light and refreshing thinly sliced red onions, mixed salad, drizzled with a minimal tang of a dressing coupled with the umami pork belly. Then, I finished off with the Yugaejang kungluksoo, which is a spicy beef noodle soup. I got the extra spicy and it came out pipping hot. The noodles were chewy. The soup was well-paired with the typical cascade of Korean side dishes. The customer service was also excellent. I would definitely come back again!

Jang Su is like very cozy Korean restaurant. It's like visiting a Korean aunty for a delicious home cooked meal. We enjoyed their king mandoo, potato pancake, bulgogi, pork belly salad and spicy galbi jjim. All delicious and flavorful. Our favorite was the king mandoo. Service was little slow because they were so busy. We can see why it was so popular. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Enjoy! Highly recommend!
